Mythical and spectacular, sometimes friendly, the "Khumbu Valley" is one of the most popular destinations with hikers and mountaineers from around the world. The trek that takes us to the Everest Base Camp, is a mix of excitement, spectacle and satisfaction. This valley, now inhabited entirely by 'Sherpa ethnic group, offers the visitor an incredible amount of spectacular views, good food, comfort for all tastes and itineraries of all kinds. The trek of the "base camp", with the variation of the Gokyo Valley, gives us the opportunity to savor something more "mountaineering", thanks to the crossing of Cho La Pass, and that of the moraine of Cho You.

DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU (1340 MT)

DAY 2 - TOUR OF KATHMANDU CULTURAL

DAY 3 - KATHMANDU - LUKLA - PHAKDING (2610 MT) 4 HOURS

DAY 5 - ACCLIMATIZATION NAMCHE BAZAAR

DAY 6 - NAMCHE BAZAAR -TENGBOCHE (3.867M) 4/5 HOURS

Morning departure from Namche, and after about 6 hours of walking, we reach Tengboche (3,867 m). This small village is the spiritual center of the Khumbu. DAY 7 - TENGBOCHE-DINGBOCHE (4.530M) 3/4 HOURS

DAY 8- ACCLIMATIZATION DINGBOCHE

DAY 9- DINGBOCHE-LOBUCHE (4,930 M) 4 HOURS

DAY 10 - LOBUCHE - GORAK SHEP (5160 M) - KALA PATAR (5545 MT) 6 HOURS

Here we settle into the lodge and after a hot lunch, we begin our ascent to Kala Patar, the top not technically challenging of 5465 mt. Sometimes the quota can 'be difficult for some of us. DAY 11 - LOBUCHE - EVEREST BASE CAMP - DZONGHLA (4830 MT) 7 HOURS

Wake Up to 'sunrise and walk about 2 hours to reach the Everest base Camp. In the season of the summit, the curtains of the climbers and the various stupas surrounding them, make the heroic and magical atmosphere. DAY 12 - DZONGHLA - CHO LA PASS - GOKYO VILLAGE (4790 METERS) 8 HOURS

After breakfast, we walk to the Cho La pass, located at 5330 meters above sea level. The pass is not 'technical, but it's still tricky for its steep climbs and descents. DAY 14 - DOLE - NAMCHE 4 HOURS

After breakfast, we continue the descent to Lukla. We reach Namche in the early afternoon. Here, finally, we have the possibility 'of delicious sweet savor in one of the many excellent bakeries of the village. The rest of the day and 'free for all.Overnight at the lodge.

DAY 15 - NAMCHE - LUKLA 8/9 HOURS

DAY 16 - LUKLA FLIGHT - KATMANDU

DAY 17 – DEPARTURE

Transfer to the airport three hours before departure. Return home.
