The Everest region of Nepal is the most popular for trekking adventure. In fact, this region is just more than trekking, it is a milestone in anyone’s life; and some have even described the experience as a journey close to Nirvana. This region is full of dramatic glaciers, deep settlements, and several majestic mountains.

Specifically, there are 10 most popular treks in this region. The two-week climb to Everest Base Camp is perhaps the world's most famous trek, and tens of thousands of trekkers tackle the route every year for grandstand views of the world's highest mountain and it’s even more dramatic neighbors, Lhotse and Nuptse. Trekking in the Everest region is a challenge because of the altitude, but the infrastructure for trekking is highly developed and you rarely have to walk more than an hour to reach the next trekking lodge.
