Novelty, the Kopra Ridge is defined by the Nepalese as "Trek of the '' community. This route, of medium difficulty, allows us to savor deeply the Himalayan life. Day after day we walk through ethnic Gurung villages and yak pastures, unique in this area. these people, still far away from a concept of mass tourism, living in Community Lodges, which managed mountain huts from families on behalf of schools and social institutions. The proceeds of these lodge is donated to local projects.

A very special hiking and little known. Even many of Nepalese mountain guides do not even know existed.

Day 1 - ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU (1340 mt)

Arriving in Kathmandu is an 'exciting and memorable experience, the panoramic view of the snowy peaks of the Himalayas will look to your views. The Nepalese capital is situated in a 'broad valley 1,340 meters above sea level. All 'airport we will be waiting for our staff. It will follow a brief informational meeting and then we will make the final payment procedures. You will also have time to walk to Thamel, the tourist district of Kathmandu and mountaineering.

DAY 2 - TOUR OF KATHMANDU CULTURAL

Breakfast in the hotel. Day visit of Kathmandu historical and cultural. Visit the Buddhist monastery of Boudhnath, the largest stupa of Nepal and the Hindu temple of Pashupatinat, place of ceremony Hindu, and then conclude with a visit to the Monkey Temple, a mix of Hinduism and Buddhism, which offers a beautiful view of Kathmandu. Visit the city of Patan, located a few kilometers from the capital. In Durbar Square are some spectacular times, dating back to the ancient imperial city, including the king's palace and the temple dedicated to the Hindu God, Krishna Mandir, built entirely of stone with inside rare sculptures.Briefing with the guide who will accompany you in the trek.

DAY 3 - KATHMANDU - Pokhara

Breakfast and transfer to the van / private bus to Pokhara, a beautiful town situated on the banks of Lake Phewa Tal. Free lunch along the way. Overnight at hotel. Free afternoon for a visit to the lake and to the various local shops in the center. Free dinner. Overnight at Hotel White Castle or similar.

DAY 4 - Nayapul - TIKHEDUNGA (4 HOURS / 1,560 mt)

Full board. in private van transfer to Nayapul and trek about 4 hours until Tikhedunga (1,560 meters). easy day for the little slope that separates the two villages. Overnight in lodge

DAY 5 - TIKHEDUNGA - GHOREPANI (6 HOURS / 2800 m)

Full board. Trek about 5-6 hours to Ghorepani (2,840 meters). From this village the views begin to be amazing. We have before us the 'Annapurna (8,091 meters), the Dhaulaguiri (8,167 meters) and other peaks over 7,000 meters. Overnight at the lodge.

DAY 6 - GHOREPANI - POON HILL - CHISTIBUNG (6 HOURS / 2,700 mt)Wake up at 4 in the morning and 1 hour hike to the viewpoint of Poon Hill (3,210 meters) .From here the view is really amazing. Before us the chains of Dhaulagiri Himal and 'Annapurna. Return and breakfast in the lodge. Immediately after the meal, starting for the Khopra remote area. Ghorepani we go down to Chhitre and we leave the main trail and then taking a detour to the right that leads us, going through cultivated terraces, to the village of Swanta. From here we climb a 2-3 hours to get to Chistibung, where we find only a lodge community (another is under construction) run by a friendly local family. Here our journey takes on an interesting dimension, as this region is really little touched by mass tourism, and this makes it really special. Overnight at the lodge community.

DAY 7 - CHISTIBUNG - KHOPRA RIDGE (4 HOURS / 3670 m)From Chistibung we continue along the side of a hill to climb and reach the crest of the mountain. We are at Khopra, one of the most beautiful places in the Annapurna. This area is known for wildlife and have a good chance to closely observe the Himalayan tahr and Danfe pheasant. The refuge of Kopra we are greeted by a fantastic view. This extraordinary panorama includes Annapurna South, Varasihar and Nilgiri in the foreground to the north, and through the depths of Kali Gandakhi Valley, Dhaulagiri Himal dominates l 'entire horizon on the west side.

DAY 8 - EXPLORATION IN KHOPRA RIDGEfree day exploring the area. With good meteorological conditions and good physical condition, we can reach the Khopra lake or even the Kaher Lake, located at 5,000 meters above sea level. Return to the lodge, dinner and overnight.

DAY 9 -KHOPRA RIDGE - Baheli Kharka (5 HOURS / 3100 m)Wake up at 6 and walk in altitude of about 1 hour to see the sunrise from this amazing vantage point. Return to the lodge, breakfast and 4-5 hours trekking to Baheli Karka. We have lunch near a small stream and, in the afternoon, gradually go up the valley until you reach a small pass where our path descends through rhododendron forests. Finally we reach a very open glade known as Baheli Kharka. From the hut there is the view of the impressive Dhaulagiri Himal, Dhaulagiri I (8,167 meters) and other peaks higher than 6,000 meters. Spectacular!

DAY 10 - Baheli Kharka - GANDRUK (7 HOURS / 2,500 mt)Today we continue to go down, the day is definitely easier. It falls in a forest of oaks and rhododendrons. This is a particularly beautiful area and this walk in the forest is often accompanied by the sounds of birds and the sound of small waterfalls, especially in spring and autumn. Along the way breathtaking views from Dalaughiri Manaslu, Annapurna through the ... Ben three 8,000 meters will accompany us along the path. We get to Gandruk, the beautiful village of Gurung ethnic group, located under the Annapurna South. The village maintains a strong tradition Gurung, you can visit the monastery and some typical houses. The visit is very interesting and beautiful. Overnight at the lodge.

DAY 11- GANDRUK - Pokhara (6 HOURS)After breakfast trekking 5-6 hours to Nayapul. To offset term in Pokhara in private van and possibilities for relaxing massages.Lunch and dinner free. Hotel accommodation and overnight. Hotel White Castle or similar.

Day 12 - PokharaFree day. Possibility of excursions, sports and shopping. Overnight at Hotel White Castle or similar.

Day 13 - Pokhara-KathmanduAfter breakfast, depart by private van to Kathmandu. Arrival in the afternoon visit to the town of Bhaktapur and the famous Durbar Square where you can admire the famous palace with 55 windows built in 1754, the Sunko Dhoka and beautiful Hindu temples.
